Or Pearl, Head of Trade & Economic Office

Mr Pearl holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Masters degree in Political Science, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Mr Pearl served as a parliamentary assistant in the Israeli parliament, the Knesset. He graduated from the Economic Representatives course of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour of Israel and served in the Latin America and Africa Department of the Foreign Trade Administration of Israel. Mr Pearl arrived in South Africa in September 2008 to reopen the Trade Office of Israel and holds the position of Head of Trade and Economic Office in the Embassy of Israel in South Africa.

 Ido Yaffet, Trade Officer

Ido YaffetMr. Ido Yaffet holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and have worked in leading Israeli organizations and corporations in the field of financial and business consultancy. He has acquired experience in working both with the private sector as well as the public sector. As part of his duties, he led high budget projects (sometimes reaching millions of NIS). These projects entailed complex processes of profound organizational changes, both operational and strategic within each company.  Mr. Yaffet arrived to South Africa in August 2010 and serves as a Trade Officer at the Trade & Economic Office of the Embassy of Israel in South Africa.

Ms. Kgomoco Letlhoo, Trade Officer

Ms. Kgomoco Letlhoo holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations and Law as well as a Post Graduate Degree(Honours) in International Relations, both from the University of Witwatersrand. She has gained experience in the public sector in the Office of the Deputy Minister at the Department of Home Affairs. She is  currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree through the University of South Africa and serves as a trade officer at the Trade and Economic Office of the Embassy of Israel in South Africa.

 Michael Shapiro, Trade Officer

Mr. Michael Shapiro holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Johannesburg. He has acquired experience in the private sector working for non-governmental and communal organisations. He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management through the University of South Africa and serves as a trade officer at the Trade and Economic Office of the Embassy of Israel in South Africa.
